New Urbanistic Town - Panama City Beach

The Towne of Seahaven

Seahaven was the fictional name of the idealic town in the movie, the Truman Show, which was filmed in the popular vacation destination of Seaside in the Florida Panhandle. Now a new preconstruction project just a few miles from Seaside along the gulf of mexico in Panama City Beach promises to offer a resort destination experience unrivaled on the entire Gulf Coast. It's name? - The Towne of Seahaven!

With 1400 feet of pure, white beachfront along the turquoise blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico and 52 acres meandering around a majestic lake, the beachside village of Seahaven will offer a Water Park with a lazy river and slides and fountains, a village spa and a beach club with beachside pool, fitness center and cafe. Just 1/2 mile east of Pier Park, the Towne of Seahaven is patterned after Baytown Wharf in Sandestin. To learn more, read the News Herald article about the Towne of Seahaven.

The design includes 3,000 residential units, 22 retail shops, 16 restaurants, and a conference center which will take 12 years for completion. The first phase, a 17 -level residential building called "Origin" is slated to open in Fall 2007.
